Jamie Brown's journey is one of grit, precision, and passion—a self-taught watchmaker who traded rural Texas for the bustling streets of New York City nearly three decades ago.
In an industry long dominated by men, Jamie carved out her own path, founding J Watch—a Manhattan-based workshop that became the trusted repair service for jewelers nationwide. Her meticulous craftsmanship proved that skill knows no gender, as she expertly serviced everything from ultra-luxury timepieces to everyday favorites. Jamie also served as the exclusive USA distributor for Cyma Watches, a storied Swiss brand with over a century of horological heritage.
As her reputation grew, so did her vision. Jamie expanded her business to include the Chelsea Watch Shop and Brooklyn Watch Shop, specializing in the restoration and resale of vintage watches. Through her partnership with Carpenter Watches—a boutique Millbrook-based brand—she brought newly issued timepieces to discerning collectors.
A New Chapter in the Hudson Valley
Seeking a quieter rhythm, Jamie relocated her operations from Manhattan to the charming village of Millbrook in Dutchess County. Here, she continues to offer the services she's renowned for: fine watch repair and service, restoration, and sales of new and vintage watches and accessories.

Life at Fox and Fawn Farms
When she's not restoring vintage timepieces, you'll find Jamie at Fox and Fawn Farms in Clinton Corners, where she and her husband have built a life rooted in nature and tradition. Accompanied by their two beloved dogs—Snoopy, a sheepadoodle, and Olly, an Old English Sheepdog—Jamie tends to her bees, cultivates heirloom vegetables inspired by trips to her husband's family farm in southern Italy, and taps maple trees for their own small-batch syrup.
Visit her Millbrook store and you might discover the locals favorite eggs, seasonal produce, handcrafted bee and beeswax products, and pure maple syrup displayed alongside exquisite timepieces—a reflection of Jamie's multifaceted life.
